Learn English

Well, this is the last post of this year and the last semester of English in my career.

I would like to know English in order to travel and have the possibility to talk with people from more countries and not depend on someone else. Also to understand the series without subtitles, understand songs, etc.

A few years ago, I traveled to Paris and England with two friends. In that minut I did not know anything about English and could not communicate with anyone, I had to depend all the time on them. I remember that some people tried to talk to me, but I did not understand them.

Something similar happened to me, when I recorded a commercial for a US company, the producers given us instructions and I had to ask the others to translate me everything they told us.
I would have liked to know English in those occasions to have been more independent.

Honestly, not much I learned in college, I think the teaching program is not good, I have never received a feedback to any homework, dissertation, test or blog. In the end what little I have learned is thanks to external people.

At this time I do not plan to continue studying English, but at the end of the career I would like to take a course, although I do not really know any good, I have not seen good results in people close to me.

I remember playing duolingo a year ago, and I learned so much words, so I think I will continue practicing with that game while I can not take a course

Dream is free

If I could change something of my career, would be the following:

I would shorten the curriculum, eliminating the basic cycle, because I will personally be 6 years in the university (counting the specialization), which seems to me exaggerated.

It would shorten the daily work load or distribute it in a better way, some students leave school too late, loosing the possibility of working or dedicate to personal projects.

I would add more elective classes, to give the possibility to the students to complement the career with different dance styles.

As for the infrastructure of the university, it would change many things. I would start changing the place of studies to a place that has more dance rooms, better bathrooms and showers, a garden with green areas, places of rest and a library with more access to books relacionated with dance, that's something basic.

As for the technology, it would have sound equipment in all the rooms dance, with their respective leads. I would install data show in the rooms, to facilitate the work of teachers. Would have a good Internet connection to facilited the work of students.

As for the methods, I think there is a line that I personally like, but I would insist on strengthening an education that looks at the abilities of each student with their individualities  to enhance the personal abilities.

Well, for this, the faculty need a lot of money, and like arts are not profitables, is dificult to get budget so, probably, everything this ideas will remain in my imagination.

Perú and Ecuador

I joy to tell you that this summer I'm going  to Ecuador with my boyfriend. We bought plane tickets to Lima, Peru, for later to board a bus along the coast, to reach Mancora, and then trip to Montañita, Guayaquil, Quito, Baños de Agua Santa and other places.

I am very excited for this trip, because traveling is wonderful. Know other places and cultures is always a very enriching experience for life. None of us knows these places or somebody who lives there, but in all trips you meet many people who are part of the thousands of adventures to remember.

In this minute, I'm working, giving ballet classes, selling brownies at the university and accepting different jobs to collect all the necessary money and be able to enjoy all the activities and places in the course of the trip.

We are still planning the trip itinerary, because we have just 15 days and we want to take advantage of every minute and place.

We would like to know the highest swing in the world that is in Baños de Agua Santa, also go to parties on the beach in Montañita, know the beach of Mancora, some jungle of Ecuador and enjoy the people and places that we get to know.

To save money, we will buy a small cooker to not spend too much on food, but anyway we will eat typical foods from each place. We do not know what kind of food we will find, but probably we will discover something new.

I am sure that we will have an amazing time, we will return with new experiences and more epectatives to continue knowing different cultures and people. We will return with desire to plan our next trip, because the travel experience is the best invertion.
